Life Update: Juggling My Commitments and a Small Change in Posting Frequency!
And and Experiment with ChatGPT
Hi all,
I decided to try an experiment and thought I would take you a long for the ride. This was the post I just wrote about my needing to change up the amount of times I post here. I think it sounds ok. But I thought I wondered how Chat GPT would write it… I gave the following prompt… Make the following sound like a blog post - Hi all, Thank you all for following me. My goal when I started this was to provide AI information to you at least twice a week. And during the summer it is easy to do that. But once the school year started I was back to serving over 2300 students in my library and also finishing out my term on the school board. I realized it was just too much. So I am moving to a once-a-week format, but will still post articles and other information I find while scrolling through social media on the Facebook Group. I hope everyone joins it because it is a great place to connect with other like-minded librarians and teachers and get ideas from them.
This is what it wrote - Hey there, wonderful readers!
First off, a heartfelt thank you to every single one of you for joining me on this journey. When I first embarked on this digital adventure, my ambition was to consistently deliver fresh insights into the AI world at least twice a week. Summer days made it a breeze to keep up with that promise. With long hours and an influx of motivation, things seemed to be flowing seamlessly.
However, as the golden leaves started making their annual debut, and I was once again immersed in the bustling atmosphere of serving over 2300 inquisitive minds at my library, I felt the strain. Combine that with my responsibilities on the school board and the equation suddenly became more complex.
That said, I believe in providing quality content over quantity. With that in mind, I've made the decision to transition into a once-a-week posting schedule. But don't you worry! While the blog posts might be fewer in number, I promise they'll be packed with the same level of passion and knowledge.
For those bite-sized nuggets of AI wisdom and intriguing articles that I often stumble upon during my social media escapades, I'll be actively sharing them on our Facebook Group. If you haven’t yet, I'd strongly recommend jumping on board and joining this vibrant community. It's not just a treasure trove of information, but a fabulous space to connect, interact, and exchange ideas with fellow librarians, educators, and all of you wonderful tech enthusiasts.
Cheers to evolution, adaptation, and the undying spirit of learning!
Until next time,
Not bad at all!
Wow!!! I couldn't have said it better myself. Fascinating and scary.
So interesting! :)
