In the ISTE course I am taking, they talk about the Google website Teachable Machine which really is a great way to teach students, or anyone for that matter, how machine learning and AI work. It is very simple to do and has so many applications for schools and libraries.

Here is the project I created for the class. In Canva I made sample images of nonfiction and fiction spine labels and trained a teachable machine to be able to identify which was a fiction book and which was a nonfiction book. It is a very basic example of the use of this program in a school library setting, and I would love to know other ways school librarians and educators have used it with their classes or plan to in the future.
