Ways to teach about how AI is being used to create convincing but fake audio and videos.

AI can do some really cool things and make life a lot easier for many. But it can also create images, videos, and audio that make it look like a person said something when they did not. These are called deepfakes, and we must teach our students about them and why it’s so important not to believe everything you see online.

CNN also has a really good interactive site that teaches about deepfakes. Where you can learn about it, take a quiz to see if you can spot a deepfake and more.

No matter what you end up using make sure that when you start teaching your students about AI you explain Deepfakes to them.
