I love Shelly Terrell; If you are not following her on social media, you need to be. I have gotten so many great ideas over the years from the tech tools she shares. The other day she posted this on Facebook, and while I shared the link in our AI School Librarian Facebook Group, I wanted to make sure to share it here and talk about it a little bit.

It is so important that we teach our students how to ethically use generative AI ethically, and having them sign something like this, reinforces those ideas. What is great about this is that there is included this Canva Template, which you could customize for your specific assignment.

AI is not going anywhere, and educators, specifically school librarians, need to be on the front lines of educating students on how to use it properly. Having students take a pledge or attach a signed infographic like this to their work is a great first step.
